Now we're stuck with Hellatus for 2 months. That was one of the advantages of England getting it late, we got all our episodes in one bulk, with no great big gaps.

By the time it comes back, we'll be a week away from the circus of January 30th. Ah that won't be fun.

November has been as awesome as I'd hoped so far
Kasabian were amazing live. I'm attempting to write a kind of review thing that I'll post on LiveJournal.
The whole show was themed around 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum', the title of their latest album, so even before the show started, they had information on cases of lunatics on screens, and then just before they started, they had people walking across the stage with chains on, as this creepy bell was ringing. It was probably the best themed show I've seen, The Killers' theme is mainly Vegas - fairy lights, palm trees, although with Kasabian, it's not so much about the beautiful vocals, although Serge's voice is so different it's amazing and Take Aim is one where he sings alone, and it's one of my favourites. Plus, whilst he's singing, Tom stands back, and you can tell just how much the music means to him. I only got hit with one missile, which was Christ knows what on my neck that made it numb for 5 minutes, and then I got a little bit of beer in the last song, so I didn't do too badly xD

On Tuesday, I got Kris and Adam's albums, and I was grinning like a maniac because I didn't think our little HMV would stock them, and they're both incredibly awesome. Kris' is all pretty and Adam's is freakin' fierce. I don't even know how he reaches the high notes in Music Again, Strut is actually amazing since it was written by Kara Diowhatsit. I wouldn't have let her loose near my album after the natural disasters disaster, although I think Adam did like the song, it was Kris that went 'screw this, how about a mudslide?' xD Both the 'Thank You' notes in the sleeves are so cute, Kris talking about Katy and his 'Idol family' is so presh, and Adam's... well. It goes on forever! But he mentions Drake, even though they split up, which is even more presh >.<
And the For Your Entertainment music video I died. And yes he was carrying a gold pimp stick. I run out of words sometimes.

So now I'm going to go into defensive stan mode. Adam closed the AMA's on Sunday, and to be fair, he was the first to admit that his vocals were off, which can be expected, bb has nerves! He also admitted he got carried away with the 'gay' kiss, but the rest was choreographed dancing, and he doesn't feel the need to apologise because he's an entertainer, not a babysitter. All that = truefax. So then ABC cancelled his appearance on Good Morning America, because 'they thought it was risky after such a raunchy performance at the AMA's'. A: He wasn't even supposed to perform For Your Entertainment on GMA, he was singing Whataya Want From me, and B: Somehow I think he may be able to tell that a late at night performance wouldn't be suitable for a morning performance, he's not bloody stupid. So THEN he got invited onto The Early Show on CBS, and he got to perform and everything! Music Again and Whataya Want From Me. Then, they showed the clip of the AMA's, BLURRING OUT the kiss, but then showing a clip of the Madonna/Britney/Christina shit that happened a few years ago, UN-CENSORED. Adam had already made accusations that people are totally fine with sexuality, unless it's involving gay men, double standards.
I quote Michael Slezak, who agreed that Adam's vocals on Sunday were off: ''Oh yeah, apparently ABC suits didn’t trust the firebrand singer would understand the inherent difference between a 10:55 p.m. performance at a decidedly racy awards show and an 8:30 a.m. gig at a benign, watch-with-your-cereal-and-coffee news program. [Insert eye-roll here.]''

But that means new interview, which is at least a page long, and maybe a new picture There's a tri fold cover as well, with a big photoshopped image of a loooad of people. It's like Where's Waldo xD I'm hoping to get it tomorrow, fingers crossed >.< Still haven't found Elle USA here though
